Biography
Blondy, a Romanian musical duo consisting of Andreea BÄnicÄ and Cristina Rus, was formed in 2001. Their debut single "Nu MeriÈi Dragostea Mea" (2001) quickly became a radio hit in Romania. Blondy's first album Atât de Aproape followed on May 21, 2001, featuring an electropop and house sound with notable tracks like "IubeÈte-mÄ" and "Numele tÄu". Their second album, O parte Din Tine, was released on June 12, 2002. In 2004, Cristina Rus left the group, and Andreea BÄnicÄ continued as Blondy until 2005. The final album under the Blondy name, Dansez, Dansez, was released on January 1, 2005, featuring singles like "Dansez, Dansez" and "Indragostiti". Blondy disbanded that year.
