Biography

Billy Butler was a soul and jazz guitarist who performed and recorded from the 1940s up until his death by heart attack in 1991. During his career he played with jazz and soul music legends including Dizzy Gillespie, Eddie 'Lockjaw' Davis, Houston Person and Dinah Washington. He recorded and released five LPs on the Prestige Records label.
