Biography
Finnish rapper and singer Tupe. is enjoying success six years after his debut EP entitled 18, released in 2017. Featuring six tracks, it includes collaborations with Hijackjk and Nuori Virsi. After a two-year break follows the single "Plääneis" (2019), followed by further releases and a collaboration with Leo Luthando on "Matrix" in 2020, then with Aatulove on "Nevermind " in 2022. Highly prolific, Tupe. has recorded several other songs in the intervening years, gradually moving towards richly produced pop, in contrast to the rap of his early days. After the single "Misfit", he made his mark on platforms and social networks in 2023, thanks to the track "MTV3 " and the accompanying video. This marked the start of a series of hits for the young songwriter, including "Mitä kuuluu" (no. 48) and "Puhu pahaa " (no. 37), followed in 2024 by the no. 2 "Elli" with Vepu. Collaborations follow, with Costee on "Silt se tuntuu" and Robin Packalen on "Häitä pidelly", before the release of the first album Rehellisesti, recapitulating hits and including duets with Mikael Laurent and Sanni. 2025 saw the release of the single "Ankeet tanssiaiset", which reached No. 36 in the Finnish charts.
