Biography

Barefoot Truth was an American independent roots rock band from New England, formed in 2005. The group consisted of Will Evans, Jay Driscoll, Andy Wrba, Garrett Duffy, and John "Wayno" Waynelovich. Their debut album, Changes in the Weather, was released shortly after their formation. The band performed at a pre-debate rally in New York for the Obama presidential campaign in 2008. Barefoot Truth released recordings such as Walk Softly, "Life is Calling" (featuring Naia Kete), and Carry Us On. In July 2012, the band announced they would go on hiatus following a farewell tour. They reunited for live performances and studio work, including a set at the Summer Sound Festival in Lenox, Massachusetts, in 2015.
