Aubrey Hodges, born on November 3, 1966, in the United States of America, is an American composer known for his work in video game music. He began his professional audio career in 1985 and started composing music and sound effects for video games in 1991. His early works include contributions to series such as King's Quest, Space Quest, and Quest for Glory. Hodges' versatility is evident in his ability to play a multitude of instruments, from stringed to brass to percussion, and his work spans various musical styles. Notable releases include the soundtrack for Quest for Glory: Shadows of Darkness (1993) and Journey Into the Dark Places (2012). He also composed independent albums under his own name, such as Refelctions of Veldra (2012) and Above All the Thorns (2014). Hodges' contributions to video game music are extensive, with over 200 games credited to him. His work includes soundtracks for Doom, Quake (Nintendo 64 versions), and Doom 64.
