Athens Boys Choir is an American spoken word duo consisting of trans men Rocket and Katz. Established in the United States, the duo specialized in a genre blending declaimed poetry with vocal music similar to rap. The recording career featured the debut album Rhapsody in T (2004), released through Daemon Records. The duoâs lyrical themes focused on racism, the politics of George W. Bush, and the experience of transgender individuals in the United States. Subsequent recordings included the albums Rose Cuts the Cake (2005) and Jockstraps and Unicorns (2007).
