Biography
Asuka Hayashi, born æææ¥é¦ on May 28, 1989, in Osaka, Japan, is a Japanese singer who debuted at the age of 13. Her musical journey began when her piano teacher sent a tape of her singing to a music producer, leading to her debut single "Ake-kaze" released by Toshiba EMI's Southeast Asia division on January 21, 2003. This was followed by her first album Saku (å²; Bloom) a month later in Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Mainland China. Hayashi gained significant attention with her hit song "Chiisaki Mono" or "Make a Wish" (English Version), which was featured in the sixth Pokémon movie, Pokémon the Movie: Jirachi: Wish Maker (2003). Her subsequent releases include the albums Hatsukoi (åæ; First Love) and Chou (è¶; Butterfly), as well as notable songs like "Hitotsubu no Tane ~Love the Earth~" and "Snowdrop". She has also collaborated with Chinese instrumentalist Chen Min on the single "Tsubame ni Naritai". In 2017, her song "Orashion no TÄma ~Tomoni ArukÅ~" (Oracion's Theme~ Let's Walk Together) was used as the ending theme for Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You!
