Arno Santamaria has the distinction of having had his first two albums released with the help of participatory production sites. Active on the French scene since 2007, Arno Santamaria advocates French chanson with text and a rock accent. In 2009, his first album Arno Santamaria was financed by Spidart users, but suffered from the liquidation of the participatory label. Arno Santamaria didn't give up, however, and collaborated with Hélène Ségara, Julie Pietri and Léna Ka on various tracks. In 2011, he decided to call on apprentice producers once again via the MyMajor Company platform for his second project. Released the following year, the album 1362 thanks the Internet users who believed in him. In 2013, Arno Santamaria took part in the TV show Rising Star and made it all the way to the final, before recording his third album, Des Corps Libres, released in June 2015.
