Biography

AQUA5 is a unique unit formed by five male stars of the Takarazuka Revue's Snow Troupe. It was created in 2007 to coincide with the opening ceremony of the World Championships in Athletics in Osaka. The group attracted a great deal of attention as an outside activity by current Takaraziennes. The group pursued a full-fledged musical path, with songs provided by the Gospellers, etc. On August 27, 2008, their second single "Aqua Feel Aqua Soul" was released. This song was used as the commercial song for House Foods' "Rokko no Oishii Sui" (delicious water from Rokko), and brought its transparent harmony to the tea room. The group also appeared on many TV programs, including "Uta Ban" and "Tokyo Friend Park II. After a solo concert in 2009 and a group change in 2010, the five members' stunning visuals and sophisticated performances are still talked about by Takarazuka fans today.
