Canadian Andrew Whiteman is the soul of Apostle of Hustle. Guitarist, bassist, vocalist, arranger and more, Andrew Whiteman is a multi-instrumentalist of varied inspiration. He formed Apostle of Hustle in 2001, while also playing guitar with Broken Social Scene. The albums Folkloric Feel in 2004 and National Anthem of Nowhere in 2007 are the result of an approach based more on a variation of climates and a taste for fine arrangements, than on composition per se.
