Antytila is a Ukrainian pop-rock band formed in Kyiv (Ukraine) in 2007 by its frontman Taras Topolya. In 2008, the band released its debut album «ÐÑдÑвÑдÑ» (âBuduvuduâ) and had been named The Debut of the Year. The song of the same name - âBuduvuduâ - got into radio and TV rotation, and Antytila received Grand Prix of the Ukrainian music festival Pearls of the Season-2008. In the fall of 2011, the band released their second album «ÐибиÑай» (âChooseâ); two years later Antytila presented the music video «Як ангели» (âLike Angelsâ), and their third album «Ðад полÑÑами» (âOver the Polesâ). One of the most significant albums in Antytilaâs discography is Hello. Released in 2019, it adds synth and orchestral touches to a pop-rock sound. The tracks âTDMEâ, «Ðови моменÑ» (âCatch The Momentâ), and «ÐÑÑила» (âShe Believedâ) became huge hits in Ukraine. Antytila performed at the biggest music festivals, such as Sziget (Hungary) and SXSW (USA). In 2022, the band featured in Ed Sheeranâs song â2Stepsâ performing its part in Ukrainian. The same year, Taras Topolya joined Bono (U2) during his impromptu gig in Kyiv metro, together they performed âStay by Meâ.
