Biography

Anton Kim Ewald, known professionally as Anton, was born on August 7, 1993, in Sweden. He began his career as a background dancer at Melodifestivalen, participating in the competition multiple times before transitioning to singing. In 2013, he released his debut EP A and participated in Melodifestivalen with "Begging", finishing fourth in the final. Following this, Anton released several EPs including A-coustic and On My Way. His notable singles include "Natural" (2014) and "She Don't" (2017). In 2021, he returned to Melodifestivalen with "New Religion", qualifying directly for the grand final where he placed eleventh. Anton has also collaborated with various artists, including Medina on "This Could Be Something" and Rami Yacoub on several singles. Additionally, he starred in the Swedish production of Moulin Rouge! as Santiago from September 14, 2023 to April 28, 2024 at Chinateatern in Stockholm.
