Biography

Anthony Kavanagh was born in Longueuil, Quebec (Canada), on September 26, 1969, to Haitian parents who immigrated in the 1960s. Although he took his first steps on stage at the age of 18, intending to pursue a career as a comedian, his musical side was already perceptible, as he began performing in front of an audience by imitating Michael Jackson. He went on to support artists such as Céline Dion, Julio Iglesias and Natalie Cole, before launching his first one-man show, Kavanagh! in 1995. A multi-hatted artist, he then multiplied his appearances on stage, on television and in the cinema. For the 7th art, in addition to his own roles, he also dubs and sings the voices of numerous heroes in cartoons such as La Princesse et la Grenouille (The Princess and the Frog) and Vaiana (2016), for which he sings the track " Pour les hommes", which reached the top of the singles charts in France.
