Ano (born September 4) is a Japanese singer, actress, model, and former idol, known for her unique personality and eclectic artistic style. She first gained recognition as a member of the alt-idol group Yurumerumo!, joining in 2013 and leaving in 2019. After her departure, she began working under the stage name ano and launched her solo music career in September 2020 with the digital single "Delete". Ano gained further attention through her television presence, including her show Ano Channel, and her activities expanded to acting, notably portraying MEMcho in the 2024 drama adaptation of Oshi no Ko. In 2021, she also formed the band I’s, taking on vocal and guitar duties. Her major label debut came in 2022 with the single "AIDA" under Toy’s Factory, followed by her first full-length album Nekonekototo in December 2023. That same month, she performed at NHK’s Kōhaku Uta Gassen, singing the viral hit "Chu, Tayousei. In 2025, Ano continued her momentum with the surprise release "Kono Sekai ni Futari Dake" and announced her first Nippon Budokan concert. Her second album BONE BORN BOMB is set for release on June 4, 2025, signaling the next evolution in her bold and unpredictable career.
