Anla Courtis is an Argentine musician, artist, composer, and sound artist. He studied classical guitar, piano, theory, and composition, earning a degree in Communication Science from the University of Buenos Aires. Courtis played electric guitar in various bands before co-founding Reynols in 1993. With Reynols, he released over 100 CDs and vinyls worldwide on labels such as Trente Oiseaux, Digital Narcis, and Drone Records. Courtis's solo career includes notable albums like Transistores De Aire (2005), Tape Works (2006), and Las Sales Fundentes (2007). He has collaborated with numerous artists, including Seiiichi Yamamoto, Yoshimi, Jaime Genovart, and Christof Kurzmann.
