Biography

Born in Montbéliard, Angélique Mauillon completed her training at the ENM in her native town, before perfecting her skills on the modern harp at the CNR in Lyon, where she won a gold medal and first prize. At the same time, she studied musicology at Lyon II. In 1997, she discovered the Renaissance harp with Marion Fourquier, before joining Eugène Ferré's class at the CNSMD de Lyon in 1998, where she was awarded a prize in 2002. She continued her studies with Mara Galassi in Milan. A specialist in early harps, she performs with numerous ensembles and develops personal projects. In 2008, she recorded Le Remède de Fortune with Marc Mauillon, winning a Diapason d'or. She teaches at the CRR de Tours, the CRR de Besançon and the CNSMD de Lyon.
