Biography

Andy Findon is a British woodwind player. He was educated at Harrow County School and the Royal College of Music. In 1980, Findon began his professional career as a baritone saxophone and flute player with the Michael Nyman Band. Throughout his career, he has been a session player, contributing to various albums across multiple genres and composing for music libraries such as EMI's KPM and Made Up Music. His solo albums include Tracked (2005) and Density 21.5 (2011), featuring unaccompanied flute music. He also collaborated with Geoff Eales on the album The Dancing Flute, released in 2013. Additionally, Findon played the penny whistle in the soundtrack for the How to Train Your Dragon films.
