Biography
Andrea Bacchetti, born on September 23, 1977, in Genoa, Italy, is a classical pianist. At age eleven, he made his debut with I Solisti Veneti, conducted by Claudio Scimone. Bacchetti's career includes performances at notable festivals such as the Lucerne and Salisbury music festivals. His discography under RCA Red Seal features works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Johann Adolf Hasse, Luigi Cherubini, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. In 2014, he received the International Classical Music Awards for his recording of Domenico Scarlatti's and Antonio Soler's works. Bacchetti has also recorded Luciano Berioâs compositions under Decca Records.
