Amour Abdenour, born on February 17, 1952, in Leflaye, Béjaia, Algeria, is an Algerian singer known for his contributions to Kabyle music. He began his musical journey in the late 1950s, initially listening to radio songs and learning to play instruments such as the flute, darbouka, and guitar by age 11. In 1964, he joined the JFLN (d'El Flaye), a local cultural association directed by Mahmoud Lassouani, which broadened his musical horizons. Abdenour moved to Alger in 1968, where he composed his first song "Yeǧǧa-tt" and made his radio debut in 1970. His early recordings included "D lεid" and "I gettεeddayen" released in the late 1970s. Among his most recognized songs are "LÉ£iá¸a n teylut" (1987) and "Snat ay sεiÉ£" (1989).
