Ãme Strong is a French electropop group formed by Pascale Hospital and Andy Shafte. Before forming Ãme Strong, both artists were involved in other musical projects: Pascale Hospital was part of SDA, which released "Vous êtes un arbre" on the compilation PUR (1992), and Andy Shafte was a rapper and DJ who contributed to various albums including Liane Foly's Les petites notes. In 1993, under the name Ãme Strong SA, they released their debut single "Tout est bleu", which was featured on several compilations such as Café del Mar vol.5 and received remixes from DJs like François Kevorkian. Their studio album, Combat des sens, was released in 1996 and included notable singles such as "Guette l'aube" and "Bout à bout". In 2005, they released their single "Un tout petit bout de nuit", but tragically, Pascale Hospital passed away the same year at the age of 45.
