Biography

Alli Walker (born 1989 in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada), is a Canadian country music singer-songwriter known for her unique blend of country with pop/rock influences. An avid bagpipe player and university dropout, Walker’s journey to stardom has been marked by perseverance and determination. Her debut album, The Basement Sessions: What I've Learned So Far, released in 2019, featured songs recorded in her basement. During the pandemic, she wrote and recorded her sophomore album, Growing Up, remotely, which debuted at number 6 on streaming charts. In 2023, Walker gained significant attention with her viral song "The Whiskey's Gone," which amassed over 10 million views, leading to a partnership with RECORDS Nashville and Sony Music Publishing Nashville, and marking a significant step in her career. Her 2024 single, "I Like Big Trucks," a humorous country twist on the 90s hit "Baby Got Back" by Sir Mix-a-Lot, landed her at number 55 on the Canadian Country charts in June.
