Adult Mom, an indie rock band from the United States of America, was founded in 2012 by musician Stevie Knipe. Initially a solo project, Adult Mom began with Knipe recording their first EP Bedroom Recordings in their bedroom and releasing it on Bandcamp. The band expanded to include guitarist Allegra Eidinger, bassist Lily Mastrodimos, and drummer Olivia Battell. In 2013, Knipe released two more EPs: bstmommy and mom's day. Their first full-length album, Momentary Lapse of Happily, was released in 2015 on Tiny Engines. The band's second album, Soft Spots, followed in 2017, also on Tiny Engines. In March 2021, Adult Mom released their third full-length album, Driver, via Epitaph Records, which received a rating of 7.3 from Pitchfork. Their fourth full-length album, Natural Causes, was released in May 2025, again via Epitaph Records.
