david Franck Guez was born in Lyon (Rhône) on May 14, 1972. David Charvet was raised by his mother in Boulogne-Billancourt (Hauts-de-Seine), before joining his father in the United States in the early 1980s. He took part in three seasons of Baywatch and two seasons of Melrose Place, before becoming a singer in 1997 under the direction of Felix Gray. David Charvet and his hit "Should I Leave " were high on the charts. Leap of Face in 2002 was less popular, despite "Jusqu'au bout" reaching No. 6 in the singles chart. Se Laisser Quelque Chose was released in 2004, confirming a clear decline in his popularity. David Charvet returned to Los Angeles, where he appeared in the films Green Flash (2008) and Prisoners of the Sun (2009).
