Ad Vielle Que Pourra was a Canadian band formed in 1986, based in Quebec. They performed original compositions rooted in French, Québécois, and Breton folk music traditions. Their name is derived from the vielle, or hurdy-gurdy, an instrument central to their sound. They released their debut album Ad Vielle Que Pourra, New French Folk Music (1989) on Green Linnet Records, featuring a variety of traditional instruments including the hurdy-gurdy, bombarde, and accordion. Their subsequent albums included Come What May (1991), Musaïque (1994), and Ménage à Quatre (1996). They performed at notable festivals such as the Winnipeg Folk Festival in 1990 and 1991, and the Edmonton Folk Music Festival in 1993. They toured extensively through 1999 before disbanding in 2000.
