2814, an ambient/dreampunk duo consisting of electronic musicians Luke Laurila and David Russo, debuted in 2014 with their self-titled album 2814 on Ailanthus Recordings. The British-American collaborative project, also known as Telepath and HKE respectively, released their second album Birth of a New Day in January 2015 through Dream Catalogue, which was later pressed into double LP format following a successful Indiegogo campaign. Their third studio album, Rain Temple, followed in 2016 and was noted for its intense, dramatic, and cinematic elements. In 2019, the duo compiled their previous works along with new releases into Lost Fragments.
