Biography

1.Cuz is a Swedish rapper of Somali descent that hides his face behind a white balaclava. Very little is known about the artistâs identity, except that he was born in HÃ¤sselby, a little town right outside of Stockholm. After spending two years in prison, an experience that greatly shaped his musical output, he made his debut in 2018 with the single âAkta Mannen,â included in his 2019 debut EP Tre HjÃ¤rnor. That same year, he also released his studio debut 1 Ãr, which shot straight to the top of the Swedish charts largely thanks to the Top 5 single âFÃ¶rsentâ with Greekazo and Yei Gonzalez. In 2020, 1.Cuz returned with his second full-length FFF, reaching Number 6 on the Sverigetopplistan and cementing his status as one of the most original voices in Swedish rap. The album included appearances by EinÃ¡r ("Fiendes Fiende") and Yasin ("I Jakt PÃ¥ Kaniner"). The following year, the non-album single âCaravaggioâ cracked the Top 10 in Sweden.
